Pastor Novella Denise Smith is an ordained Senior Pastor and Associate Youth Director within the Allegheny East Conference of Seventh-day Adventists. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Administration and a Master of Arts in Religion with a concentration in Ethical Leadership, both from Washington Adventist University in Maryland. Certified as a Grief Recovery Method Specialist by the Grief Recovery Institute, she founded Complete View Services to provide grief coaching for individuals, churches, groups, and children.
Passionate about urban ministry, Pastor Smith founded Life Skills Academy to equip urban families with practical skills and entrepreneurial opportunities, enabling them to build positive futures and resist cycles of violence and crime. The academy has offered courses including Interior Automotive Detailing, introduction to Barbering Basics, and Commercial Driver’s License (Class A and B) state-certified training. Committed to experiential learning, Pastor Smith personally teaches the automotive detailing courses through her business, Deep Style Detailing, integrating lessons on business ethics and professionalism alongside technical skills.
Her ministry is deeply motivated by the Great Commission’s call, understanding that “go” manifests differently in every community and church, and emphasizing hearing God’s guidance before stepping out. Pastor Smith’s pastoral passions encompass leading local and domestic mission trips, creative evangelism, urban community outreach, renewing visions for intimate-sized local church leadership, children and youth development, and ultimately witnessing transformed lives through Jesus Christ.
Dedicated to helping individuals reach their full potential, Pastor Novella Denise Smith encourages all to seek God’s guidance, embrace honesty, serve others, and pursue continual growth. Her leadership exemplifies a resilient integration of faith, experiential service, and community empowerment.
